Our Approach
We were motivated toward Chinese Medicine at the beginning of the 1980s by what was then a growing awareness of the vast amount of medical knowledge China had to offer.
Our approach in the clinic is well grounded in Chinese literature and actual Chinese practice as well as the huge benefits of the integration of Western and Chinese Medicine.

Whilst in China she studied Qi Gong and qualified as a teacher of this, one of the first in Britain. On her return, she gained a Post-Graduate Certificate in Chinese. She studied acupuncture and herbal medicine for 5 years and has now been practising for 35 years.
Jennie has a particular interest in Gynaecology and Fertility and has trained extensively in this.
Simon King
Simon initially studied plant science and then philosophy. His interest in plants, medicine, and the philosophy of science led to training in Chinese Medicine for 5 years. When there was little English language information, he translated his own material and studied with well-known Chinese doctors and pioneering Western practitioners, particularly in urology, gynaecology, dermatology, and classic formulas. He has now been practicing for 36 years.
Simon lectures and supervises students in herbal medicine at the White Crane Academy.
